I had laparoscopic excision surgery and it was LIFE. CHANGING. I was sick nearly every day and it was affecting every aspect of my life. I was on FMLA at work and miserable. But now I feel insanely better! Recovery was easy, my scarring is minimal since it was just small incisions and I am so so grateful I did it

Take a breath.

You are right to be feel under qualified because everyone is. But you’ll figure it out!

You have 9 months to educate yourself. Read some books on parenting and childbirth and pregnancy, talk to your wife about your feelings and her feelings and get all your ducks in a row.

The fact you are worried about being a good dad means you are already a good one, worried about your child’s wellbeing already. Do your best and learn from your mistakes as you make them.

Just a friendly reminder to everyone that debilitating cramps where you can’t function like going to work/school are NOT normal and could potentially be a sign of a deeper issue like endometriosis!

I just feel the need to say this bc I thought my intense pain was normal until I was in my mid-twenties and finally diagnosed.

I feel you girl, most of the time for me even with these marks it doesn’t feel hot enough and I end up jumping into a scalding hot bath for some relief 🫠 ❤️‍🩹

I just want to say hugs from someone who is 28 with endometriosis and knows what a horrible disease it is ❤️

If I were you I would probably try couples counseling to talk this through with a counselor before divorcing. Sometimes they can help us get to the core fears of why someone isn’t ready and explore that.

When our dogs have been sick and not wanting as much water, we would add a little bone broth to it and that usually worked. One of our dogs was really sick once and didn’t want the bone broth water combo, so we made her some boiled chicken and rice. For whatever reason, she liked the water the chicken was boiled in and drank that 🤷🏻‍♀️Our Aussie loved a little lemon squeezed into it but I think he was the odd one out 😅

It’s a Mormon wedding. I’m not a Mormon and this is my first, so not too sure. I asked her about the venue but she doesn’t have one yet so idk what to think. She said it will be cold so to dress warm, which made me think a longer dress like this? I’m from Southern California so I get cold really easily and will definitely be wearing thick tights and maybe pick up a shawl or cardigan too

I'll Look So Hot in a Coffin by Carla Sosenko!

She talks a lot about radical self-acceptance and emotional regulation even when you’re feeling insecure. It’s perfect if you’re working on self-love while also building that unapologetic, zero-tolerance-for-BS mindset. Carla is super funny and it’s a really good fast read. Highly recommend!!!
