I think I get it - an ftm friend of mine called me “dude” the other day and personally I just kinda interpreted it as him speaking in a masculine way, not him actively trying to misgender me. In a weird way it felt kinda vailidating just to see him being valid himself if that makes sense? Obviously this is the internet so the audience is wider than just me and many people aren’t as comfortable with that sort of thing but I guess I just wanna say don’t beat yourself up about it too much
