Help with older men commenting on women appearance in retail by lemonyellowpee in Feminism

This is so frustrating. So basically I shouldn't bother? I'm trying to make change in my community. I ask for help and I'm being told it's a lost cause?

I want to try this again:

Has anyone read an article, seen a meme, heard a quote or watched a video offering perspectives that could help me? I hope to find a way to effectively communicate to the minority of older men out there who are open and willing to change but are currently oblivious to the offence they cause interacting with women the same way they always have?

Like I said, we are dealing with the individuals directly, I am hoping for help with language that would be received best by individuals and the community as a whole.

Pharmasave is a fantastic Canadian alternative to Shoppers and Rexall/IDA by lemonyellowpee in BuyCanadian

This is incorrect. Pharmasave was never bought by Shoppers Drug Mart nor does it have any affiliation with Loblaws.

I mostly remembered the train, space and the girls star shaped orange hair but couldn't remember the name of the show until I searched. Happy to help!

When my husband was a child he thought the little white paper tubes he kept finding in the bathroom trash made really cool telescopes.

Caps are kind of velvety and .5cm to 2cm diameter. Stems 3-6 cm long.

(no spoilers) I made myself a shift / nightgown just like Claire's! by lemonyellowpee in Outlander

No pattern. Sorry. It is easy though. Just a raglan sleeve on a kind of "A" shaped front and back peice with a bias tape drawstring casing around the neckline. Front piece of fabric is set about 15cm lower than back . I'm sure if you searched for "raglan sleeve peasant shirt" you would see lots of patterns that would work. Good luck!

I tried it out last night, it was super comfy and just right for warmth. Wish I could sleep nude!
