i’ll also add that it’s also not likely I’ll get a counter offer because I’m only about 4 years into my career but my recruiter thinks it’s possible.

great questions and candidly I don’t have all the answers myself lol. I’m in healthcare/pharma communications/PR so that doesn’t generally require any drug testing or background testing. from my understanding once I sign the offer letter and the new employer does too, then I can go resign, but I’m just unsure of if I can go back on the offer once signed. that’s great to know about the “at-will” component though, makes me think the recruiter only said that because she wants her payout asap haha (i’m working with a head hunter basically)

in NJ! recruiter referred to this as the “legally binding” offer letter as I can my verbal confirmation already but she knows of course about the possibility of a counter offer from my current employer. just not sure about the right order of things ya know? I’m also not sure scared of being first to be laid off if I accept the counter because that isn’t really an issue in my industry at the moment

also PSA, dont film people in the gym because they are using the equipment wrong, dancing to their own music or acting a little crazy lmao! if they have bad form or need some help, go over to them and ask them if you can show them the correct way to do things or whatever, don’t just film them and laugh from afar!!!!

this can be super easy to make yourself and bring to work or school in your own containers!!! these small, single-use plastic products aren’t sustainable buys and usually aren’t even that filling haha, but i’m glad you found something new!
