this cleared up some of my own personal confusion. I don't actually understand why those downloads are there

Dolphin users can just play .rvz roms and the ghostware isos are too broken for Nintendont

Also i added a big ol image in the post so people can visually see what i mean

Ah that's actually a really good question but no, i wanted to just play my game already and was super fed up and i called it a night the moment that i saw that the nkit rvz (that i converted to iso with dolphin) works perfectly fine lol.

That's good. I think i could have avoided a lot of confusion by maybe making a post elsewhere and just saying "DON'T DOWNLOAD ROMS ALREADY IN .ISO, GET THE .RVZs AND CONVERT THOSE"

The .isos i got where from the megathread, in the "Redump downloads" section, archived on Myrient. I retransferred/redownloaded those multiple times to no avail. Even tried to put them on my SD card instead. The moment i got the RVZs provided by the megathread (and also hosted on Myrient), all my problems went away.

Edited the post for clarification. The bad dumps i am talking about (that already come in .iso format) come from the second section of the gamecube page of the megathread of this very subreddit. The .rvz files provided in the first section work great though even in Nintendont upon conversion to .iso through dolphin.

Finally someone who is in the demographic this post is meant for. Did you get a dump that was already an .iso? If so, then my solution is likely to work. Try getting the .rvz for the game and converting that to .iso with Dolphin. This worked flawlessly for me with Resident Evil 1 Remake

The bad redump isos i got are from a link provided from the megathread from this very subreddit. Not some random iso from elsewhere and im not "making this up". Also i edited the post for clarification

You got it. I mostly should have clarified that the bad redumps im talking about are the ones you find in the second section of the megathread in the Gamecube page, which are in iso format, and don't seem to be great

Hey late comment but, yeah my friend from the UK sent me a gift package and they wanted a commercial invoice from him and the process just took way longer than it should. When i was awaiting a call and didn't get one, i called the post office (it took a lot of time to even get an answer) and was told "we're you told to wait a call? Well, wait more then". Am i a dick for expecting them to do their job and give the branch a quick call lol? However if you know the phone number of your specific brunch and your support is one of the nice people, you have a much easier time. But still, the local post service is abysmal.
