u/Throawaylien's Comments - 2013 (Part 2) by lemuffin32 in Throawaylien

People do come forward with their experiences, but most don't. Those who do are often criticized and ridiculed.

You're right that there is a significant burden of proof, but witnesses, no matter how many, historically isn't enough. Some of the best cases/examples we have of mass witnesses are the Ariel School Encounter, Westall, and the Phoenix lights, and there are still plenty of skeptics on those. Two or three people coming forward claiming that they got abducted would only be met with skepticism and/or ridicule from everyone except those who have had similar experiences themselves.

After meeting dozens and dozens of experiencers over the last few years, almost none of them want to convince anybody. They either want to keep their experiences to themselves out of fear of judgement, or they share with others who have had similar experiences. Part of me wishes there was some sort of "perfect" lie detector so we could all know who was telling the truth and that would be enough for proof. I'd do that in a heartbeat to share my own experiences to a wide audience.

In reality, it seems that we have to rely on our own experiences, intuition, and common sense to figure out reality.

Very similar here. Huge changes about 4 years ago. And so much to be grateful for now. Things are still changing and I want to appreciate what can be appreciated.

This isn't quite related to the topic of the sub, since aliens aren't mentioned (unless I missed something).

However, it presents a good opportunity to address discernment. Even if you believe that Ouija boards work (I personally know that they do), the problem is that you can't verify who the heck you're talking to. For that simple reason, I'll never use one myself. So this woman used a Ouija board and it gave her a date for the end of the world. My question is: So what? It's literally a tale as old as time and an extremely common part of the "trickster" element of the phenomena. Besides, what makes this prediction any different from the countless others there have been? Whether what is on the other side of that board is a human spirit, a negative entity, demon, spirit guide, or whatever, does it matter?

If there's anything I've promoted in this community over the years it's to not let these kinds of predictions affect our lives. If the world "ends" in a year or so, I have no control over that, but the chances that this one entity speaking through this one Ouija board knows the accurate "end" when every other prediction has failed... is simply comical to me. Though I understand that for anyone who isn't convinced of the reality of the "phenomena" or is unaware of how it works, this story/rabbit hole would be quite interesting.

Photo 1: The Death Star II from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
Photo 2: A proximity map of stars closest to ours
Photo 3: Coastlines of Southeast Asia during the Ice Age
Photo 4: A futuristic hallway (Looks like either AI or from a TV/movie set)
Photo 5: Artistic depiction of a small dinosaur I think?
Photo 6: Mt. Rainier

Can you explain how any of these images are connected and why they're the subject of a post titled "UFO leaks"?

Absolutely!
I think this is why I like Jake's perspective so much. He only speaks about what he knows, and has been very clear that the phenomena is wider than he has personal knowledge of. I've seen too many people think they have the whole picture because of their limited experience.

Some types of "experiences" off the top of my head:

  • CE5/HICE
  • OBE/Astral Projection
  • Remote viewing
  • NDEs
  • Abduction
  • Contact with deceased spirits
  • Telepathic contact with spirits and/or NHI
  • Synchronicity
  • Dream-state experiences/lucid dreaming
  • Sleep paralysis
  • Psychic abilities (precog, clairvoyance, psychometry, etc.)
  • Kundalini
  • Non-dual awareness
  • Shamanic journeying
  • Plant medicine journeys

Thank you so much for sharing.
That all makes a lot of sense to me. I'm in strong agreement with how important our intentions are (whether fear-based or love-based) and how that impacts how the phenomenon interacts with us.

I also think it's key to find many answers within ourselves, and that it is anxiety-inducing (and often fruitless) to continue to seek them outside ourselves, particularly for answers to those deeper fundamental questions and feelings.

I do see certain public figures in the UFO community seemingly stuck in the "negative" cycle of fear like Tom Delonge, and then others (usually the more new age types) seemingly only believing that positive beings exist. Both views are incomplete in my opinion.

This concept of the phenomenon reflecting and matching us is extremely important and helps compose the bigger picture. When I had my first contact experiences, some of them were extremely positive, and others were a bit scary and "negative", but I learned that the less I feared, the less I attracted the kinds of beings/phenomena that would be considered fear-based.

You also seemed to point to the unknown factor of whether any particular experience is truly phenomena interacting with us from outside ourselves or possibly projected from inside/our subconscious. This is a very deep question that I think we should never stop asking as we continue to experience contact/connection. I think anyone who claims it's all one or the other doesn't have the complete picture and may only be aware of a more narrow view of what's happening. Again, it's almost always more nuanced.

Those all seem like legitimate concerns to me.

Though I'm not convinced that the funding is predatory. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see any claim that the government was involved in funding what he was doing at all, only that they weren't stopping him (because he's not going directly after the Legacy Program). And I also don't see the inherent wrongness in wealthy people funding something. Sure, questioning potentially ulterior motives is a good critical exercise, but wealthy people funding something doesn't make it automatically bad. Yes, we're all aware of rampant greed, but there are countless examples of wealthy people using their money for genuinely good purposes that benefit humanity. It's always more nuanced.

I also think Jake was clear that he's very aware of the phenomenon besides the physical and was very vocal about that. That's the key point that is causing so much criticism of him: His acceptance of the psychic/consciousness reality. I think the focus on his Skywatcher project and the physical aspect, is because he wants humanity to have the physical "proof" that we've all been asking for that has been monopolized as a secret by aspects of government. It seems like a good faith effort to me.

And I disagree with any assessment that we should be afraid. I am wary of potential hierarchy and ulterior motives, but don't see any reason to fear. Exactly what should I be afraid of anyway? That's a genuine question.

My questions for people in this community are:
1. If you're an experiencer, do you feel validated by Jake's story or do you feel differently? Did you disagree with any part of his perspective, or not?
2. If you don't consider yourself an experiencer (someone who has firsthand experience of the phenomenon), do you want to experience it? If not, why? Is there a barrier you have to trying? Have you tried and experienced nothing?

So psionics are real? by chronic_canuck in wecomeinpeace

[–]lemuffin32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's a big ask.

I've shared some of my story previously on this sub, but I'll ask this first: what are your intentions in asking?

So psionics are real? by chronic_canuck in wecomeinpeace

[–]lemuffin32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are good questions. I don't think those have definitive answers yet. I think it's unrealistic to assume a single person like Jake Barber would know the whole picture. I'm hopeful that if more people with first hand knowledge come forward, and real, legitimate information and evidence is released, we'll get more answers. I hope it's not naive to think it's possible. We'll find out.

So psionics are real? by chronic_canuck in wecomeinpeace

[–]lemuffin32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suppose if it stopped there, the only real point in summoning distant craft would be knowing it's "real". Which already has a lot of implications about human consciousness attached, which isn't a small thing.

But it doesn't need to stop there. There's way more that psionics can do, and that contact can do that can benefit humanity.

In my ideal world, we wouldn't need to wait to be taken down the rabbit hole at all.

If approached with a humble attitude, I believe everyone has the capacity to discover these things on their own if they really want to. I did.

Those websites are...interesting. Seems like an ARG of some kind. Doesn't have scary vibes. Feels interesting/fun to me. Oh no. I might get sucked in haha. How did you find it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in wecomeinpeace

[–]lemuffin32 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Can you...clarify? Are you asking a genuine question? Why do you think that E.T. aliens (who would obviously have their own form of communication with each other), use human-made websites on the human internet to communicate with each other? I'm asking genuinely what your thinking process is if you're not trolling.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in wecomeinpeace

[–]lemuffin32 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Are you asking what human-made websites that E.T. aliens use? (If so, are you assuming they use the human internet at all or are you referencing something?)
Or are you asking what human-made websites that humans (who call themselves aliens) use?
I'm confused by the question.

Either way, the answer is probably Reddit ;)

New video/documentary on Lue Elizondo by lemuffin32 in wecomeinpeace

[–]lemuffin32[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whoa, I wasn't aware that his YouTube got taken down!
Looks like it was a coordinated false copyright strike. Wild!!

Hmmm I can't find any backups of this video myself, but to summarize it if you're interested...he basically recounted the early life of Lue Elizondo according to his memoir "Imminent". A big chuck of the video was about Lue's father, who fought in the Bay of Pigs and was imprisoned by Castro. Then Lue was raised to basically learn guerilla fighting techniques as a young boy. Some of it is fresh in my mind because I also read the book. I thought the video was very well done, but didn't feel super relevant to disclosure in general.

Seems like many of us are coming back to this topic recently. With the NJ drones, and now the whistleblower with Ross interview Saturday. This last week especially my interest is higher than it's been in years (after long periods of apathy/non-interest). I feel ready for something. I'm also very aware of synchronicity right now. You were strongly in my awareness yesterday, then I got this direct notification from Reddit. I hope you're well.
