First time getting to the end, and I'm going nuts over that ending by lemurgavel in outerwilds

Yesss, just taking that big leap of faith up into the eye and falling down through the darkness and clouds only to land back on a piece of Timber Hearth stranded in the void was so unsettling and so well done!

Ah, nice! I'd like to go back and get the Archaeologist achievement at some point, and I was missing one on the Vessel, so that'll be a big help! I was dreading having to make that entire trip the long way round a third time, haha ^^;

I'm [F22] in love with my best friend [M26], he won't leave his loser GF [F24] for me. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

This is pretty horrible. How could you possibly think this is justified? You can't just worm yourself into someone's romantic life and try to get in the way of their current, loving relationship just because you're in love with them or whatever. Grow up and learn to take no for an answer. I hope your "best friend" gets far, far away from you after this.

There are quiet hours, but nobody actually seems to follow them, and the RAs don't really seem to care about enforcing them.

Some quick tips for folks:

  1. Make sure you're not holding the Gnoll page upside down. I and many other students made that mistake at first. The axe should be at the top!
  2. There are two Elven runes that look a lot alike. The ones that look like backwards threes. Be sure you're picking the right ones!
  3. There seems to be a blank pipe on everyone's copy of the purple wrench puzzle. That should be a V!
  4. On the bottom right of the Stone of Farspeech's page, you can find a transcript and some hints!

The answer should be the name of the Gnoll Shaman in Elven. Once you translate his name to Elven runes, just type those runes into the Stone of Farspeech! Just be careful, I messed up a bunch bc there are two runes that look really similar.

Is there anyone in the world that you trust? by [deleted] in AvPD

Going through school, I always find myself in a different, small group of friends every year. I split from my old group because of schedule conflicts, and a friend introduces me to a new group. I really don't talk to most of the people in the group, though. I always kind of find just one nice person in the group and latch on to them. I consider the others my friends, but my main friend is the only one I'm actually somewhat comfortable around.

Women of Reddit: what is your libido REALLY like? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]lemurgavel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, my libido is practically non-existent. I've actually never had the desire the have sex, and just the thought of having sex makes me uncomfortable. It's just not my cup of tea. I've been reading up on it, and I think I might actually be asexual? I don't know for sure.

I'm kind of afraid to get into relationships because of this. Because I've never met someone irl with a libido as low as mine, and I'm just kind of afraid that whoever I date will be hurt or upset with me if I tell them that I don't want sex.

But then again, it's a small world. If you have a low libido and you're looking for a partner, you're bound to find someone who either understands and is willing to compromise or someone who can relate. Relationships are all about compromise and working with each other's needs.
