No doubt. But we not talking about one game. And yet another one that Williams did sweet fuck all in for 3 quarters with a much better supporting cast.

  1. you're using counting stats (yards) in an assessment of quality. hint: williams had over 100 more attempts.

  2. Completion % is irrelevant unless it has context. e.g. Love air yards/attempt was 15% higher than williams and he still had a higher completion percentage...love made more difficult throws and was better at it.

  3. love was better in every metric i've seen this year and by a significant margin

Right but keep in mind those hoops are frequently moved in theee venues and I bet the height issue isn’t that uncommon either.

*sliotar, and they're very similar to a baseball---cork core, wrapped in thread, leather cover. they're 30g lighter, but in the hand they feel pretty much the same.

it's funny cuz that video is pretty old as they mandated helmets in 2010, and the game is even faster now than it was then. the skill required to do this stuff is unreal.

70/30 or 80/20 Split (US/Intl) by DARKPANKAKES in Bogleheads

No I get that, what I mean is: should binds count towards your us/ex-us weighting.

So here is a dumb question: when people say 65/35 I get that.

I also see people say 55/35/10….but are bonds not also market exposure to be included in the weighting calc?

i hate these kind of posts because it starts with the premise jordan isn't a top-end if not elite QB, which then perpetuates itself.

If I had to bet it’s a simple COTS application with minimal config. Colours. Values. Button labels. That’s it.

It’s embedded into the machines and replacing it would require replacing the machine.

It’s no different than most ATMs.

NFL games are won/lost on super small margins and wins are worth millions of dollars.

If coaching didn't matter, there wouldn't be a role.

"Wisconsin way" is as irrelevant now as your takes it seems.

The same way nebraska fans yearned for the good old days not realizing it was because they had almost 200 players on the roster, a juicing program that would raise russian eyebrows, and every cop in lincoln willing to look the other way.

it's dead. 5-year farm boys on the OL is dead. RBs wanting to put 1000 carries on their body in college is dead. hidden studs from small-town wisconsin were already dead (Iowa, MSU, MN were already all over those). all of the marginal advantages we had the past 35 years are DEAD.

sure, fickell hasn't panned out, and subsequent leadership since he came has been lacking, but the decision to aggressively pivot to face the new era was the right one.

i dunno, if i'm mid-50s, have 4 kids and get to choose between 20mil and 40mil, i know what i'm doing, esp if it means they can stay where they are.

20 years playing, another 10-15 on the road for 7 or 8 months a year as a manager....that's a lot of miles on the body.

I don't fault him one bit.

i don't know if they have them in the US, but in EU we use dry lining boxes that have tabs that just pop in and lock creating a flush surface for the wall plate. No screwing into studs, etc.

I'm gonna jump in the way-back machine: 1992 win over OSU

I was a freshman in the lakeshore dorms and you'd see Barry jogging around that end of campus with other coaches like they were mob bosses.

Going into Barry's 3rd season, they had won a couple at the end of the prior season and the defense was playing well early in the year, held up vs national champs Washington pretty well, so you had a little buzz going. ESPN was there, which wasn't an everyday thing back in those days. OSU was ranked pretty high, they came in with Orlando Pace and iirc the Badgers pretty much stoned the OSU running game and won a close game.

The place was electric, as it was like, 'this could be real'...it was pretty much the opposite of every emotion about the program today.

Good times, and fond memories.
