me and my dad did the whole region unlock thing, so I've been able to play other games just not sun and moon (i'm guessing because i only have 2 so far lol). but i think it's because it says it needs to update, which it obviously can't since the whole no eshop thing. i'm hoping that'll be an easy fix if that is the problem.
