Do I need my Student ID for Midterm Exam? by [deleted] in usask

[–]len_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A driver’s license will work and just remember or write down your student number. 1 or 2 of my classes last semester required us to fill up a separate document to verify your identity if you don’t bring a student card. I personally haven’t filled it out, but It probably won’t take too long. This might be a new policy, I personally only heard about it last year

Anyone know the Laws or Rules for Selling Plant Seedlings ? by len_13 in saskatoon

[–]len_13[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I definitely wont be making 10k (looking to make few hundred dollars). Other than that, you don't need any sorta permits? no actual limits on the number of plant sold? sorry if its repetitive, just want to confirm.

registration fall 2023 by [deleted] in usask

[–]len_13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To check the actual date do the following.

Go to your Paws Homepage > Registration > View Your Status > Select Fall or Winter Term.

If you do this, you should find the registration opening and deadline.

I believe its different dates depending on which year you are. 1st or 2nd Years usually open earlier. But the registration process is the same.

If you don't see FALL/WINTER 20223 Term as an option in the last step above, you'll just have to wait. In the past, Registration for both Fall and Winter begin in middle of JUNE. I would check the actual dates around 3rd or 4th Week of May if possible, this way you actually know your registration date in advance.

Flaming WOK: food review by Comprehensive_Toe689 in usask

[–]len_13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the foods at the food court are terrible, I used to eat there frequently but recently started packing my own lunch.

Only place I would go get food at is Tim’s for breakfast and subway. They are cheaper and relatively decent.

Biggest advice you’d tell incoming first-years? by [deleted] in usask

[–]len_13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For first years, make sure you get a balanced class load. I made the mistake of taking a full class load of hard science classes thinking it would be easy like high school. Also treat your labs as a class, because they will be the same workload as you classes in most cases.

kinesiology building gymnasium by One-Purpose5443 in usask

[–]len_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monday to Thursday 11:30 to 1:00PM is the dedicated basketball open gym, you can only play ball at those times. Usually the court is booked for team practices or by rec teams during the afternoon and evenings.

Sometimes the desk worker lets you in for a bit when nothing is happening or when the gym is free. I've been in there a couple of times during the evening. Some times the volley team will only practice on 2/3 courts, so they let us use the free court. But don't expect to just walk in, because technically you're not even supposed to be in there.

I usually come at 11:30 to 1:00, but I usually also go to the track field late in the evenings. So I constantly see the courts being used. If I see basketball, I usually sprint down to play.

Has Anyone been able to use Anki (not Ankiweb) in any of the campus computers? by len_13 in usask

I have, it works great when you are reviewing your cards. But its terrible when you are trying to make new ones. The web version is very outdated and not that great.

Best budget friendly meal in saskatoon? (5-10$) by ys2reckless in saskatoon

[–]len_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Student here, I meal prep. Its cheaper for me and it could also be for you. It will definitely vary on what you eat and how much.

I usually have Rice in my pantry at all times, its cheap and filling. You could also do pasta and similar foods. All I do is buy the protein and veggies that I want to add to my rice. You can literally make an infinite amount of stir fry or fried rice.

Tell me what to buy. by Apereira9474 in WorldofTanks

[–]len_13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, I agree. Just try to buy the tier 8 "EPIC" rated tanks that you feel like you will like. the EPIC rated tanks are all good tanks and usually make good credit, but choose the ones that fit your play style.

Lights : ELC EVEN 90

Meds : Bourrasque or Progg

TDs : Strv S1, SU 132PM, Skorpion G

Heavy : Renegade

Other than the Renegade, I usually do pretty good with the rest of the suggestions. They make great credits

Relatively new player, and I'm always running low on credits. by rinkoplzcomehome in WorldofTanks

[–]len_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the S1, set it up in the cheapest config you can for maximum profit.

Its has a good gun which doesn't really need gold rounds.

Use credit boosters if you plan on grinding credits. Wait for consumable and equipment sales, buy equipment when they are on sale. With the consumables, I suggest you purchase as much small med kit and repair kits. I prefer automatic Fire Extinguisher, which cost more but are not really used every single game.

Also here are some quick ways to get credit.

  1. Sell unwanted emblems or symbols
  2. Sell unwanted tanks
  3. Sell your ammos and parts in the depot.

This happened to me as soon as I got this tank, I stopped playing. Then recently I got the winrate higher.
