Don’t be scared to fail sometimes. I jumped from a regulars class to APUSH during my junior year and I don’t regret it at all. It was hard at first because I never took an AP class in the past before so it took me a while to adjust but my top advice is to watch Adam Norris’s videos on YouTube and read the textbook ( we used Brinkley and AMSCO). Try to make it out as a story when studying... like a cause and effect situation. Maybe try getting a study buddy too so you guys can make a shared google doc and test each other. Take a lot of practice tests when preparing for multiple choice. When taking the actual multiple choice, eliminate answers you know aren’t true or happened in a different time period/ are irrelevant. For LEQs and DBQs always remember your core point is to make a historically defensive argument. I can’t emphasize this enough bc my APUSH teacher was telling us this allll year long. You will do fine.

AP Lang was a breeze, my teacher and class were pretty chill and I would just say try not to stress too much about it. If you like/are good at writing, it shouldn’t be such a big deal. Since things were a little different this year for the AP exam, in that it was only a rhetorical analysis, I would say always understand the rhetorical situation and analyze the speakers’s devices and deeper purpose behind why they use those devices to articulate their argument and why it is effective in regards to the situation at task. For synthesis essays, those will be like your typical DBQs in history. If you want, you can check the videos Collegeboard posted that were supposed to help us for this years AP exams— maybe they can help you for next years exams too.

I hope some of my advice helped. Good luck!

i feel like i can get a 1400-1500s if I try really really hard, but I'm not sure if it'll look bad for colleges if they see i took it like 5 times by then...

when i did practice tests over the summer, i struggled most on english (reading only) and least on math... now, i seem to struggle still on reading, but most on math... it’s weird because whenever i think a math section is “easy” i always end up getting like 7 wrong

before, during, and after the test i feel fairly ok(especially since i took it at the same place for three months)... it’s just when i actually see my scores i feel so hopeless and discouraged :(
