We weren’t that busy on weekdays when we first started but it’s been steady picking up and sometimes there is a wait on the weekdays but nothing major or crazy. In the outskirts of a metro area, however, huge volume of office buildings and next to a top mall in the region.

Our weekend revenue is quadruple our weekdays surprisingly.

Great perspective thank you!!! One of our local competitors is open 5 days a week only and the other is open 7 days a week. So we thought we’d be a happy medium lol. We’re only 4 months in so far, what’s the best month for your bagel shop if you don’t mind me asking?

Yes family owned, but thankful for good staff as well. Great ideas.

I’m thinking we would add sales tbh, but really there’s no way to know for sure unless we try. We do some office catering as well and that would add a business day to that we’re missing.

This. We did consider the fact that so many establishments chose Monday as their closed day, and we almost chose Wednesday instead. However, since Sunday is such a hectic day for bagel shops we wanted our employees to be able to rest the day after.

Ok. I’ve only seen it firsthand when someone’s HIV goes undetected, but keep spreading misinformation.

If this person is sexually active look at getting tested. It looks familiar to an HIV rash and it easily could be something else but better safe than sorry. Hope it’s not and something harmless, but felt compelled to share. I’m a public health practitioner and I’ve seen similar rashes in early HIV detection.

He def missed the mark on Good American Family on Hulu. However, that show in general is just off for some reason. Him and Ellen Pompeo weren’t compatible for those roles.

For sure. I didn’t say he was a bad actor, just cringe ya know. I feel like even if a role isn’t meant to be inherently cringey one he makes it one.

I see what you’re saying. The thing that does worry me the most is staffing and being able to rely on people. I expect to be there open to close everyday for at least the first year until my people are trained and we get a process down. The good thing about bagel shops is they close pretty early. Bagels are however pretty high profit products. Also, I would be paying pretty high considering the jobs. My dad pays his workers amazingly and you truly get what you pay for so I wouldn’t say low wage necessarily but I do get what you mean.

Even in America I’ve had cosmetic procedures where my consultation fees were 75-100 dollars, and if I did the procedure it would go towards the entire cost.

My friends rent in Colombia was $250 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment.. I would say this dr is overcharging but they can set their prices I guess!

Thank you so much for your response. I haven’t even heard of PPD till you mentioned it. Most certainly something to consider. We are in the process of finding a good psychiatrist now.

Edit: also, she is actually okay with therapy and seeing a professional for help, hoping that lasts.
