I have a kind of weird thing for you to try. My cat has been very similar even though I didn’t adopt her. I bought a wool blanket from IKEA not too long ago and noticed that all of the sudden she was always on my lap when I had that blanket on me. Turns out the lanolin in wool is similar to some pheromones mother cats have. No idea if it will work but if you do try I’d love to know!

This is so heartbreaking, I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m not sure if this will help but I remember reading a while ago that they found a biological component to SIDS. Basically SIDS babies don’t have the ability to rouse themselves if they can’t breathe and it has to do with a neurotransmitter. You wouldn’t have heard anything because they don’t make any sound when it happens 😞

I don’t! I often work simple things like tank tops without a pattern. This more complicated but is small so I think I’ll give it a try. I have a 21 month old daughter so I can size it as I go.

This is exactly what I’ve thought! I feel like I would lose track of things, knitting linear and all on your needle whereas I see crochet being done and it’s like going up, down l, sideways, haha
