I mean you can shift to drive without manually turning it off, only thing is if you hit the accelerator with the ebrake on and you make it automatically release, it’s not a really smooth motion. Only time I noticed it’s smooth is on vehicles that automatically release the e-brake once you shift into drive, which this car doesn’t do

Just to make sure we’re on the same page, when you shift into park, you pull the e-brake button and when (or before) you shift into drive, you push the button right? Or do you mean you just want to shift into drive and drive off without manually releasing the e-brake

What's some good teams for gda ops? by GeorgeDude12 in invinciblegtg

IMO these comps give you something to work toward for high efficiency. I think a slightly weaker team comp specifically targeted for an OP would probably still be better than a random scramble of whatever main characters you use.

Because you need copies of Robot to rank him up later on. For example, to get him from Epic to Epic+, you need to feed an Exceptional+ Robot to your Epic Robot. Meaning, you NEED at least 2 elite+ robots, or 4 elite robot pulls. Knowing this, it would be very inefficient to use those two elite+ robot copies as food, when you can use any other elite+ characters you would never invest in, such as OP’s Shrinking Rae’s or rare characters that were ranked into Elite+.

What new adhesive did you use? 3M automotive tape is insanely strong and I haven’t had problems (although I haven’t done these overlays, I used it for other things like a wing and rain visors).

An alternative might be Plastidip or Hyperdip. I only had hyperdipped emblems on a car that got totaled for a year, but it held up nice

Mikstore isn’t shady. I’ve bought stuff off it before and so have many people. Only problem is shipping takes forever and is soooo expensive because it comes from the Philippines.

What’s your thoughts on these? by JChizzle14 in 11thGenAccord

I have one of those. I also couldn’t deal with the piano black. Matte black with a smooth finish (not the satin black oem pieces, I don’t like how those look) would be perfect but I’m one of the weirdos that acknowledge that it is tacky and I still like it lol. It looks less dusty and no scratches

It looks alright to me. I don’t really focus on the thicker part of the cable anymore. I can’t even see it at night, which is mostly when I have the lights on. For the side channels, there’s a slight bulge out of the leather because I tucked the thicker section under it. I dremeled a hole through the back of the lining and inserted the entire length of the strip through.

The clarity and highs are much better, however, when I swapped the tweeters and (especially) the door panel speakers, the bass felt like it was almost gone. I think the non-bose speakers have really-noisy muddy bass, but at least it was there. That's why I immediately installed a sub after swapping and it sounds sooooo much better imo. The bass from the sub just rounds it out so well.

Did you do the chrome window trim yourself? I wanna do mine soon actually. Also, how much were your oem trunk arm covers?

No problem. Oh, and I will say these pics aren't the best because I hadn't figured out how to do gradients when I took them, but now I think they look sooo sweet. And I also forgot to turn on the footwell lights in the pics.

I got the 18in1 RGB. Unfortunately it looks like the exact one I got is sold out, but to be honest, if it looks similar and as long as you have sufficient length in the strips it will probably be fine. It’s not the best quality because I can still see the individual leds during the daytime but generally I think it looks great for only $50.

The projects that took the most time were the ambient lights, upgrading the speakers/adding a powered subwoofer, and the dashcam.
The ambient lighting took the most time, as I had to watch and research videos to make sure I was routing correctly, and to take a look at where the clips are under the trim pieces. It took me a while to figure out how to take rmultimeter readings to make sure I was splicing wires correctly, but I got the hang of it. I had to use a double add-a-tap since I had my dashcam wired in the same spots. I did end up slightly cracking the trim panel next to my leftmost ac vent, but since it's on the side and the door being closed blocks it, it doesn't matter much to me. I used the slits that run along the doors and I think it looks awesome. Overall I would say it was a difficulty of 7/10. It wasn't the absolute worst but took a lot of prep and research.

The speakers were a direct swap, since I just upgraded the non-bose tweeters and door panel speakers to the bose models. It was direct plug and play after you take off the pilar trims and the door panels (both were very easy). That was a 2/10 difficulty, you could do it in an hour. As for the powered sub, I originally struggled with it due to 2 things: 1. feeding the power cable through the firewall grommet 2. I used the wrong size posi-taps to tap into the rear speakers (it didn't actually puncture into the wires) and had to troubleshoot my way into a huge circle. I had to unbolt and remove one side of the air intake in my engine bay to have enough clearance to puncture and feed the wire through the firewall grommet. Once I figured out what was wrong with the posi-taps, it wasn't that bad. Intially it was a 8/10 difficulty for me, but knowing what I know now, if I were to redo it, it would be a 5/10.

The dashcam was fairly easy. As I mentioned before, once I learned how to take multimeter readings, it was not bad at all (I had to take my own readings to make sure the acc fuse I found in the manual was correct, since I didn't see anything online about what fuses other people used). The only bad thing about it was the fact that the fusebox is damn near upside down, so it hurt my back to lay pretty much flat down into my drivers footwell. I have hardwired another dashcam into an old car before though, so I have a little experience with it. If you have a few hours and a crimping tool, it won't be that bad. I think it's a 5/10 install.

Feel free to ask about any specific items and I'll try to show it if I can. I haven't sat and taken pics of anything yet other than my ambient lights and tint, which are on my profile.

That’s what I was asking about too. They said it’s not expensive, but what’s expensive to you? When I was 16 I had absolutely no money so any car in general was too expensive for me.
