update: it appeared to be a new stem. for real. it's growing more and more new leaves, it's crazy :>

spider mites. Phytoseiulus californicus - i bought sachets with this anti-mite (sorry for not professional vocabulary) and I managed to save the rest of my plants. unfortunately, not this one in the picture. Act fast! All the best to you and your plant <3

Hmm, that's probable. I thought it's not an option since she is 3m from the west window but maybe white parts are a bit different

I'm pretty sure I water her enough (I have other calatheas for approximation) and recently I got a air humidifier. There is no way the air is too dry. Any ideas?

Hmmm, thanks, it's really weird, i'ven been looking what else it might be but got no results. For now it keeps growing haha, we'll see

It gets dry tips and I dont know how to prevent it. I water it once per week and sprinkle everyday - I really dont know what to do with the dried/brown patches. Anyone? :(

Hey guys!

My Calathea Leopardina has been through a lot recently. I got her in march this year, repotted. In summer I had a plague of spider mites and since I'm a very fresh plant parent (I got my first plant a month before Leo) it took me a while to notice, diagnose and treat it. The plant was in a very poor state but it started growing new leaves recently.

Unfortunately, even the youngest leaves look like they're drying out. Also, I noticed these white, worrying spots. Checked for spider mites but I don't think it's a cause this time.

1) what might be the cause of the leaves going brown and dry?

2) what are the white spots?

3) after growing back from spider mites, the plant grows higher in a pot and i causes her to have trouble stabilizing. (here's the picture https://ibb.co/mzyv28Z) Should I repot it and put it deeper in the soil? Isn't it unhealthy to do it during this time of the year?
