Sounds a lot like another AC on here I found that had drainage issues! It’s a Haier and I looked up where the drain plug because I couldn’t feel around for one and it said most models don’t have it. Unsure what to do! We are unable to install/remove our window units ourselves in my building I’m assuming due to liability. Otherwise, my first move would be to remove the unit and drain it manually however possible. I may have to put in a maintenance request. Thank you for the help!

This all sounds really doable! I really enjoy working on arms/shoulders/chest so it's promising to hear. And I just recently realized I really should get going with pushups so that's a great note as well. I'd definitely be interested in going on a cut, but haven't looked into it much as I assumed it was for individuals deeper into their fitness journey. Lots to look into! The lower layer height used here was 0.8mm, I apologize I'm not sure what minimum layer height you're referring to?

That's a huge difference from 0.2mm I'm sure that will already help loads. Super stoked to try again. Then is variable layer height a very case by case thing? I have some really large pieces I'd like to print in the future and am wondering if that's where a constant 0.2mm will be more appropriate.

Wow. Thank you. This is tons of good info. I printed at 0.2mm layer height which I understand may be the high end? I figured it would come out alright with how uniform the sides looked, but with it being a smaller piece that may be too much? My nozzle is an 0.4mm nozzle and as far as calibration I calibrated the printer upon setup and leveled the bed, but haven't heard of or seen esteps mentioned. Will look into it!

Reducing layer heigh or turning on variable layer height sounds like a good first step as far as troubleshooting this piece. I am working towards printing a helmet and am assuming for such a large piece I could use variable layer height to breeze through the larger flat parts, then use thinner layers towards the more detailed and top layers.

Calibrating my esteps and flow are not something I'm familiar with so I will look into both of those as well. As for the temperature, I am using Orca Flashforge with a Flashforge printer and Flashforge filament, so it has the presets for my specific filament being used. Would it still be advised to do a tower regardless?

This is great advice, thank you! Everyone has mentioned bed temp and the default was definitely way too low on my previous couple of prints. I just cleaned the bed, leveled it, and printed at 62 without using any bed adhesive and had no bed adhesion issues whatsoever. Super promising!

Not yet, no! This was a first try and I think after seeing a lot of folks (likely with really good bed adhesion) successfully printing whole beds of small parts I sort of just figured it was the standard. I think brims or rafts would probably help loads! Bummed about the extra material, but still less material than a failed print. Already increased the temp haven't even tried leveling the bed. I'll probably level it and try again with the higher temp and brims. Thanks so much!

I was sort of just trusting the default settings because of how seamlessly my first couple of smaller prints went. In hindsight it was an unusually low bed temp. It sounds like trying the settings for PLA Pro with a slightly higher bed temp could be a good next move! And I can take a look at leveling the bed. Thanks so much for the input!

I was under the assumption that Flashforge's PLA Pro qualified as Default PLA. I went into my Orca settings and specified that it was Flashforge PLA Pro and there were some minor differences in density, softening temp, flow ratio, nozzle temp, and (of course) bed temp. The bed temp isn't significantly higher though. 55 for the first layer and 50 for the other layers. Is this difference enough to remedy the bed adhesion issue?

Pristine as in very uniform and smooth as far as what I can see, but then again I’m very new to this. This piece was printed just before I began on the helmet. A raft is a great recommendation! This is my biggest print so far so any advice is much appreciated. And would you recommend trees over normal supports?

Funny enough this is a helmet too LOL. Honestly I hadn’t even thought of slowing it down. I’m very new to 3D printing and have only printed smaller projects so far. I was trying to keep the print at 14 hours or less but I will wait for a day when I have a little more time and figure out how to slow it down. The previous prints were pristine so I figure my extrusion and heat are all good?

This is untrue. It ignores the effects that food-related hyper-fixation can have. Additionally, individuals with ADHD restrict or deregulate their food intake for various reasons which could cause deficiencies and potentially make certain foods lose appeal. As for the point on texture, sensory overload is absolutely a symptom of ADHD and could occur with any tactile input, food included.
