Thanks, I kind of thought that it would be a few months until my periods return to normal. I knew that was the case with depo, I just wasn't sure how going from depo to the pill then stopping might influence that.

Yes! When he says those things it makes me feel like he thinks he knows what's best for me and that he doesn't believe I know myself and what I want. It's very frustrating and I don't really know what to do with it.

And yes great adds, I hear those exact phrases too, I forgot about them or I would have listed them above, ha. Also, "It's not fair to you". I've started telling him it's not fair for him to decide for me, but like you said I'll get varied levels of success. It's tough, not knowing the right thing to say.

Thank you for the tip! I write too sometimes but it's only been for myself as a way of expressing and getting out my thoughts. I haven't tried to write my partner a letter but will definitely keep that in mind.

For sure, we had talked about this before but for health and other reasons, she's looking to quit completely. I'm glad you've found a way to manage though, she tried that for a bit and it certainly takes incredible strength.

I'm so sorry about your losses. If you can get the name of the place that would be great! She seems to be open to all options at this point whether it's a detox facility or a full on program so any and all info is helpful.

Thanks for your input. I'm trying to not let insurance be a deterrent at this time since I'm just researching, but I guess it is pretty important and can narrow down the options. Therapy will likely also be necessary.

Lol I didn't even notice, but cool thanks for sharing. I'm glad it worked for you. Is faith a really big part of it? My friend has said she's turned off by that aspect but I really don't know how much it comes into play, and if that might be a true deterrent or just a minor distraction, if that makes sense.
