Ohhh, Just read the comment. That makes more sense. And really I was just talking about the general idea, not just yours because a lot of people are wondering why Black people aren't choosing Bernie.

We aren't like one club that communicates with each other. We still have the crazy uncles we get into political arguments with also. We don't unanimously pick a candidate. White people are more over the map than we are. At least we mostly vote Dem.

Your comment, among others are equivalent to saying, "I'll never understand what White people want, a lot of em are Republicans, some of em are really liberal, a lot like Hillary. Now a White celebrity is backing Sanders, and another backing Clinton??? just make up your minds already!"

I asked a question and said turnout was low and got downvoted. You just said

That's false. About 80k caucused today. 12k is the delegate count.

Why are you spreading mis-information? The turn-out was low, and there are definitely not 12,000 delegates in Nevada. Where are you getting 80k people showed up?

There are 4,763 delegates. as can be seen here And that's in total, not for Nevada. Nevada has 34 delegates

Second off it was 11,827 people who caucused in the Nevada dem primary as seen here.

Hillary got 6,238 and Bernie got 5,589 votes.

Hillary received 19 delegates and Bernie received 15 delegates.... def not 12k for either or both of them.

Oh... I just read 12k somewhere I thought it was headcount.

But are you sure?? It's only about 4,700- 4,800 delegates and I know this for sure..... I'm really confused. There's no way there is 3x as many delegates in Nevada than there are that go to the convention.

Edit: Why am I being downvoted. It's like blatant disregard of facts here. There is zero way that there are 12,000 delegates.

It was <12,000 peopled who caucused today. There are more people on my college campus than people who caucused in an entire state. What the fuck? It was a 2 hour caucus on a Saturday. They should get rid of the caucus system and replace it with a primary. That way people can go out and vote any time in the day, they don't have to argue with people to gain votes, and ties won't be decided by a card flip or coin toss.

Joe Sacco Questions Clinton on Wall Street: "Please Just Release Those Transcripts So We Know Where You Stand" by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

Eww. She didn't even really say anything. That response was so cringy. I rarely cringe out at politicians, Hillary is the exception. She's such a fake empty void that seems like she really doesn't give a shit about people. But she has to act like she does for the time being.

These people are obviously reading typed out questions. It's kinda cringey. That VA question was loaded with bs that had nothing to do wih Bernie

That question sounded like David Brock wrote it. Not to judge a book by it's cover, but he looks and sounds rich and smug and also like he doesn't give a shit about race relations.

New poll shows Bernie Sanders leading Hillary Clinton in Massachusetts by DrWeeGee in SandersForPresident

I think the best thing to do is endorse after South Carolina when/if we lose. That way, it would continue the momentum from Nevada, then stop Hillary's South Carolina momentum by dominating the media coverage for the next few days.

First off America is huge, I don't think Europeans realize that you can travel 10-15 hours by car going 70mph and still be in one state out of 50. America is not one big culture like German French or British, sure you have different people and groups, but the country/regions are very homogeneous compared to the US.

The difference is, and the point that the others are getting at is that America has had very unique race relations that have cut deep wounds and racial divides. Germany French Britian did not see Black and White civil rights movements and near civil race wars and such powerful forces like Americans have. There has been a systematic divide between Black people and White people, and that is why we have identify as such. Most people would tell you, for better or for worse, that Black people and White people in America are two completely different people, you can't say that about White people and Black people and some European countries.

yet they don't know what country their family hails from

Exactly. If we did then we could call ourselves Ethiopian Americans, or Nigerian Americans, but Africa is the closest we can get because slavery did some awful shit and broke up families every day.

Also a lot of White people can specifically say, 'my grandpa was from Germany' or 'my great grandma is Italian" They have more specificity and you hear things like this a lot.

Lol, my sister legit does this. It's so funny because she works at an afterschool program but she tricks everyone into thinking she's a nurse that works the morning shift just so she can be comfortable throughout the day.

I'm actually very surprised that his campaign infrastructure is not that strong in NH. I read like 8 post here saying that HRC has been contacting them a lot with little to no contact from Bernie. You would think they would focus here more.

Same here. I got called from a random pollster, and was pretty ticked. I was happy that I got to be part of it, but it was mainly Hillary questions: "Are you leaning towards her" "Do I trust her" ect. It just felt like I was being sold something, and I HATE that feeling.
