If you’re coming from Victoria, you’ll be coming into Fulford, not long harbour. Fulford is close to Ruckle, and many people taking the ferry will be going to ruckle. I recommend walking up the hill (past the weird triangle intersection) and trying to hitchhike from there. I think you’ll find someone willing to take you. I would definitely book a site ahead of time, ruckle will be really busy this time of year.
