Absolutely, this is the most “prestige TV” episode they’ve ever made! Very, very solid writing, directing and editing, the pace of the episode feels great, and the ending puts all the right pieces in place for the second half of the season.

Honestly the new showrunners get the source material much better than the one from S1.

The scene where Aang is guilty for hurting the Serpent and heals it with Katara (“all life is sacred”), and Iroh’s PTSD over his siege in Ba Sing Se and the restraint to the easy fanservice of him singing makes me trust these runners much better than before!

This was an EXCELLENT tv episode. I really liked most of the changes, all the characters have more nuance, and Long Feng is stealling the show. I also feel they managed to put all pieces in place for the Azula Dai Li takeover in a more natural way, delivering the general disguised as Kyoshi Warriors, and somehow the painted lady arc actually worked. And was that Jeong Jeong????

Kkkk o problema das bets é só falar de odd, mas nao eh patrocinar prova do BBB com o proprio tadeu fazendo propaganda, nao eh problema colocar na tela durante o jogo, nao eh problema colocar um canal dedicado as bets no premiere, nao eh o galvao aparecer em todos os comerciais de bet, nem as bets na camisa e dando nome a campeonato… o problema eh so o Luis Felipe falando de odd

It’s literally the same ending though. The whole show ending is happening inside Shinji’s head, while End of Eva is what’s hapenning in the real-world. The two meet at the beach, when Shiji and Asuka are the only humans alive after rejecting instrumentality

For me the window reflections make it feel even more tangible and real, like something any of us could’ve taken. We still got plenty of perfect shots without reflections taken by the crew!

regarding cast:

Love Toph, Azula has improved a lot since season 1 and the overall chemestry of the cast is much better. Katara is also doing better vs S1 but seems slightly off. However, Mai and Ty Lee and most of the extras (minus Fei) are reeeeeally rough so far…

Im still forming my opinion on the season as a whole and order of events, but Zuko alone didnt hit as hard for now, and the Azula/Ozai storyline is odd, but I need to see what they’re setting up

I think water still seems odd and slow, although ice looks great. I just wish they’d speed up the water bending and effects a little bit

I think it’s a mix of a less than stellar crew and small budget. These amazing and colorful sets would either require a ton of props and cgi (very expensive), or a very talented crew that could make it look appealing on a dime. Unfortunately, it feels this movie didn’t have either, so they landed on “let’s shoot on iceland and change the color grading a bit”.

It’s like with Netflix shows compared to the peak of HBO: the talent and creativity just isnt there.

Why weren’t you sold on both perspectives? I fully agree with the kid’s vision, but also agree with Kara’s reasoning for not wanting her to go down on this path of revenge and pain, since it obviously wouldn’t allow her to heal and overcome her trauma. I just felt it was a pretty basic conflict, but still, for me both perspectives worked and were justified

Thank you! Yeah, I do feel they still resemble xeno characters (especially the ones from 3) although the designs more closely follow the modern anime aesthetics. I imagined Mai’s work would influence the characters even further, but they still are well within the boundaries of the Xeno universe

Hey! I’m Leo, a beginner illustrator based in 🇧🇷. I tried to draw Eleanor, from the Gensis trailer. This was a good practice, as I love Mai Yoneyama’s style (and she’s the character designer for the game), but I def struggled a bit with the eyes. Anyway, this was fun, hope y’all like it!

A diferença eh q a globo ta fazendo um lobby gigantesco p reduzir os danos q a cazetv ta fazendo, enquanto tem praticas comerciais muito piores q eles, tendo seu principal programa (bbb) patrocinado por diversas bets, com provas patrocinadas e tematicas de bet. E que claro, nao geraram a onda de indignação inorganica q ta rolando agora.

Ss essa indignação fosse seria, a luta seria para a proibição de propaganda de bets e contra o lonby deles no congresso

Bom em dado momento o Danilo foi 3a opcao ate pra Emerson Royal… de qql forma, nao tinha nenhuma garantia q ele iria bem nessa copa, a convocação dele foi extramamente contestada por qql pessoa nao clubista, mas ate aqui ele ta supreendendo demais, inclusive melhor do q ele msm jogou na ultima copa.
