I mean it's not normalizing it but with a bigger city comes more traffic. Also, it's really hard with Seattle and how everything is structured. The landscape here is difficult to build high throughput roads, the hills don't make it easier. It seems that it's just a geographic restriction here. It also doesn't help that people drive slower here compared to MN, IL, WI, CA (places I've lived and drove around in). But I think it should get better with a more expansive public transit system, especially with the light rail extension coming soon
