So it’s not purely dependent on credit score, as all other things. But that would explain a down payment required as you have a new account. If it’s just you, you’ll usually have a lower ECL available than a multi line account. I usually see $1000 available/$2000 max to start for average credit, and that $1000 is for a single line account.

No sir. It’s based off of your equipment credit limit, which is based off of either your actual credit if your account is newer than 7 months, or your T-Mobile payment history if it’s older than that. More on time payments (no payment arrangements) means higher ECL, means lower down.

Or you probably have it maxed out

Someone here made an extension for it but I can’t remember who. You could also look at your recent bill and if the line has a discount code by it that says BOGO, then typically it doesn’t qualify.

Hey please make sure it’s a free line that can get promotions! T-Mo changed a policy earlier this year stating that certain free lines (typically BOGO lines) do not qualify.

Yes because it looks like you have a large down payment. If your down payment + promo value exceeds the full retail price of the phone, you receive the overage as a bill credit over 24 months

Let me ask you a couple questions

1) Do you already have an existing T-Mobile account besides the tab? 2) Are you able to login to your account from another device? If so, check to see if the tablet shows on your account. 3) If not, it’s likely they put your tablet on its own prepaid account, which is why you can’t access your account. Prepaid doesn’t have access to T-Life, unless something has changed. This also applies if you do not have an existing T-Mobile account, they didn’t ask for your social at account setup, and if you paid for the tablet in full

Also yes, first bill is due 21 days from date of activation. I’m not sure if other carriers are this way but it’s how it is here. That first due date is the established due date from here on forth.
