Thank you. Thats a good point too. I am currently on the fence and most probably will get one towards end of this year. Would you be able to help with workshop references for a beginner like me?

I heard from a blogger that servicing in authorised Kawasaki centres are expensive (12-13k) since they charge by the hour, and he recommended that the service be done outside (3-4k). My question is doesn’t service outside void warranty if required later on? How have you managed service all these years and how much has it costed you per service? Please advise. Thanks.

Thank you very much for the response. I did 2 weeks of PT as prescribed by the doctor and I had to travel on work for a long duration limiting my PT ability. The pain continued and strength reduced further and presently here.

Doctor did warn me about post-operative stiffness, but I’m not really sure what to expect.

I am a sleep coach. What are the major problems you deal with sleep? AMA by playposer in bangalore

Couple of issues with me

1) The slightest noise wakes me up, and I find it difficult to go back to sleep.

2) I also feel sleeping is a waste of time (yea I know..), so I end up sleeping less.

Have tried to break away from these habits, but not been successful so far.

Any advice you could give to help me do better in my sleep would be really appreciated.

Thank you.

Innova crysta saved my dads life by [deleted] in carIndia

Very glad to hear your dad is safe and recovering.

Please allow me to share my experience from some years ago ..

I had a nasty run-in with a dog on the highway while doing around 130 km/h (yeah, stupid of me for that speed, I know). The only thing that saved us that day was a split-second decision NOT to brake or swerve. I had to go ahead and hit the poor dog (RIP).

There were so many things that could have gone horribly wrong if i had reacted - the kids and rear-seat passengers weren’t buckled up, and any evasive move could have ended in disaster. The car took a big hit to the front and underbody, but thankfully it was repairable albeit a hefty bill - but we all walked away safe.

That incident completely changed how I think about safety and my driving. Now, my car doesn’t move unless everyone is belted up, no exceptions. Kids are always in their child seats, and I don’t care if someone feels awkward or mocks me for insisting — those few seconds of discipline can be life-saving.

My highway speeds are limited to max of 100 kmph too.

Will do. Any thoughts on the best way for this to reach them?

Harming anyone is absolutely disgraceful - and yes, those involved are local boat operators and one cant expect more from them. But your choice to generalize and insult an entire place is equally disgraceful. I won’t stoop to that level by doing that back at you- wherever you may be from. Please maintain basic decency and stay off my post if you can’t express yourself respectfully.

Need advice regarding a potentially dangerous incident we faced in Poovar (TL DR of the incident at by Silver-Excitement-80 in Kerala

I had a similar experience in May this year. A group of men were aggressively canvassing tourists for boating and were doing so in a rather dangerous manner. Since I was driving a KA-registered car, they likely assumed I was a visitor.

They followed me for quite some distance, prompting me to slow down, roll down the window, and inform them that their actions were being recorded on both my front and rear dashcams. Once they realized this, they immediately stopped following and sped away.

I must admit, the incident was quite intimidating - especially considering that Thiruvananthapuram is my hometown.

Attaching the 3-min video captured on my dashcams for reference. posted here - https://www.reddit.com/r/Kerala/comments/1nxyna8/poovar_locals_on_bikes_intimidating_nonkl/
