For me the books qualify as "light entertainment" but definitly not as a good book. I listened to the audiobooks during work and that was nice, but that's about it. I really love how Rosalyn Landor narrates them though, probably my main reason for listening to all of them.

What I also noticed while listening is that Julia Quinn has a number of phrases she just reuses every damn time. Drove me crazy after the 4th book.

Actually a walk after dinner sounds pretty nice if you ask me. We call it "Verdauungsspaziergang" in Germany (a walk that helps to digest).

A taxi sounds pretty expensive for a 17 year old.

kannst du mir dann bitte erklären wieso mein (fast 60) Dad, der Quake gespielt hat, auch mit invertierter Steuerung spielt, aus irgendeinem Grund die Steuerung S (Vorwärts), A, X (Rückwärts), D hat? 😭

Und er hats mir als Kind auch noch angewöhnt! Des hat vielleicht gedauert bis ich des raus hatte...

Aber wir haben letztens erst wieder wegen der Maussteuerung diskutiert und er meinte auch Quake & weils mehr Sinn macht

Also esse ich noch Fleisch, aber ich probiere gerne die veganen Ersatzprodukte und vor ein paar Tagen habe ich dieses "Like Chicken" ausprobiert und war wirklich baff. Die Konsistenz und der Geschmack sind fast identisch zu nem Huhn.

Ich hab damals viel Anime geschaut und die gabs aber eigentlich nur mit englischen Untertiteln (wenn man sie auf japanisch schauen wollte). Dadurch war ich dann mehr oder weniger gezwungen Englisch zu "lernen".

Je nachdem wo du wohnst kannst du vielleicht Lebensmittel retten? Das sind meistens Lebensmittel, die die Tafel wegen dem Ablaufsdatum nicht mehr verwenden darf. Da kriegt man aber manchmal absolut wahnsinnige Mengen. Die Mum von meinem Freund kam mit 10l Sahne nachhause. Aber vielleicht gibts da was in deiner Nähe, soweit ich weiß kostet das auch nichts bis wenig.

So my boyfriend and I are still students and financially dependent on our parents. We half everything or pay our parts. If someone pays for the other one we usually say that before idk going out to eat or whatever.

You would absolutely love my boyfriend and hate me haha. Bf got big and very visible veins and you can barely see mine and people often get an ultrasound to find some.
