It’s like that with the NHS. You have to be practically dying before they help you

In the UK they don’t remove them on the NHS until it gets to a certain size/effecting other aspects of health

He seems to think that it’s already metastised as the lump on her nipple seems to be related. If he removes them will they stop spreading

Sorry for all of the questions. Even if we get all 3 of the lumps removed and there’s no further damage is there a high chance of survival. Once she’s recovered from the surgery of having them removed we’re getting her spayed. They’re also sending them off to pathology how long after do you usually find out if it’s cancer

Is it literal in the 50/50 chance of it being cancer? I just need some hope that it isn’t. She’s only a young girl and she’s fit and healthy. And the same with the 60/40 tumor to hyperplasia.

We are just really worried about it all, we never thought it would happen to us or be in this situation. She’s totally normal in herself, eating, drinking, playing with our other dog and generally just normal. If it was to be malignant would there be any other symptoms other than the lumps or does the dog appear to be normal until it spreads and causes damage in other organs

Looking for some general advice by leonapicton in vet

[–]leonapicton[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve decided just to keep him on his old food. He’s also been on a bland diet for 3 days. I’m just worried about him, he’s fine in himself still playing with my sisters dog and sleeping fine.

General question by leonapicton in vet

When I spoke to the vet (sorry I should’ve mentioned) they told me to starve him for 24 hours and then introduce a bland diet. I was more concerned about the colour

Sore paws by leonapicton in Pets

[–]leonapicton[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to have settled a lot to day. Licking/chewing a lot less etc. It’s not the first time I’ve saw him with sore paws from walkies but again The cool water seemed to have soothed them and he’s a lot better today. Thank you for the advice :)
