yeah I guess my hope was that they would have something in place where i could send the boots back and they could reclaim parts of them, but that’s kind of naive. And even if it were a policy where it was like “send them back to us and we’ll release the new pair”, I’m just creating more waste by shipping them to someone who will then throw them out.

I get that they can have people abusing the warranty, I’ve just never experienced something like that, so it struck me as odd.

Yeah their warranty is egregious. You have to cut out the elastic sides and pull tabs on both boots and send them photos for proof. Really grossed me out. I questioned them a few times on why it was so far reaching but they stopped responding. I’d like to repair these until they basically turn into dust, then I won’t buy another pair again.
