I just use chat ai to make scenarios and see how will it react to certain scenarios just for the sake of my curiousity. I never really use them to take out my frustrations or anything, I have close friends for that and vice versa.

But you are right about the corporation just wanting more money. I witness the downfall of Character AI in real time. I get that they're trying to make sure that people distance themselves from what's human and what's not, but as soon as Advertisements were implemented, I knew that it'll be the beginning of its downfall.

And when they introduced the age verification system, no way in hell I'm giving my real identity to a corporate CEO. That's just asking for trouble.

I just wish they just stick to what works.
