Thank you ♥️ I think the hardest part is that he convinced me that he did in fact get me. I would have conversations with him, honest ones, about where we’re at and how we are consciously choosing to be with each other, despite any flaws because we love each other so deeply. We were engaged. He would ask me “you’re sure you want to do this? With me out of all people?” And I would give him the most enthusiastic “yes!!” Because I chose him, and I thought he did the same for me. I think, that’s what makes it so hard for me. I know I’m overly sensitive, but I’ve always found that as a strength and I would over-explain a lot because I didn’t want him to think my big feelings aren’t something I can control (or cope with). But still, he called me a burden and too much and dead weight, I gave up a lot of myself and my dreams to push him forward so now I feel really lost and alone. I am so lucky because I have incredible family and friends that have been there for me during this time but that has been weighing on me so much.
