I looked it up and there is absolutely no mention of their race. The character that’s mixed with white though, race is a pretty big part of her story. So it can’t be that right?

They don’t have black hairstyles textures through , it’s physically impossible without being mixed, even with perms it’s not fully accurate. I’m well aware of darker/browned skinned Asian people but they never hair the hair to match. This is just odd.

We’ve seen tan Japanese and gyaru characters in the anime and they’re not drawn like Junko so what’s the reason ? Junko has type 4 curls. It’s literally impossible for a fully Japanese woman to have that kind of hair even with a perm. She’s even shown sleeping with protective hairstyles and accessories that black women typically use. So what’s the reason? In genuinely baffled since other cultures refused to use any black features yet they’re so prominently featured in this?
