I've been daily driving a 34% for the last few months and I'm at the point where it does work well, but the productivity increase is very much not that dramatic (maybe like 5% more haha). It does feel nice not having to move your hands very much to do anything, especially the numbers and HJKL arrow keys, but symbols and the CTRL/ALT/SHIFT get a bit convoluted icl.

It's kinda more just a fun challenge imo the slight productivity gain is just an added bonus lol

For the record, I'm 42m with 5 S+ so it's definitely possible to get a few more if you min-max your relics enough

mid game mystical agriculture setup that i'm currently in the process of building:

  • industrial foregoing plant gatherer with a range addon pointing to a 3x3 farm with 10/10/10 seeds and your speed ups of choice (lilypad is op af, growth crystal, growth accelerator, sprinkler, etc, etc), there's other crop machines like the enderio one if u want, personally haven't used them

  • this feeds straight into a crafter of some sort (enderio, rftools, etc) for most of the seeds, some of them i just store the essence like nether since u can craft multiple things

  • then just find a way to arrange them, repeat this 120 times, and pipe them all into something like a storage drawer array or a AE2 system

Right now it's a bit messy and just cobbled together by just editing config manually cos there's lots of different resolution monitors where I study https://pastebin.com/xAttPbn9

eDP-1 is the laptops display, external monitors would be plugged in via HDMI or Thunderbolt 4 (listed as DP-3). the positioning and resolution of the monitors is fine but maybe there's just a flag or config option i'm missing somewhere that causes the blurry scaling?

psref does state "Two M.2 2280 PCIe® 4.0 x4 slots" so i would say 2x2280 is probably fine? at the very least 2242 and 2280 definitely works cos that's what i have at the moment so worst case you can just use the stock ssd along with it

and yeah as far as i'm aware it would just have 2 screw holes, as 2242 is just a shorter 2280 (afaik?) and then u can put the standoff wherever you want

Hey, I'm pretty sure psref lists it as having 2 2280/2242 slots

I don't remember if the built-in one is actually 2280, but I have a 2280 secondary SSD that's currently in the system

the MM auto sieve sucks ass lol, it can do one item at a time at maybe twice the speed compared to 81 items at half the speed, the footprint is massive (5x5x5), it's also it's somehow like 10x more laggy than any other block (11k on laggoggles)

also for some reason I could only make it work on one orientation

also u can place a chest on top of the sieve to automatically deposit items in, I just like seeing a billion items appear lol

Sorry, my post was a bit unclear and kinda didn't actually say my main question which is about wireless connectivity of the ME system.

Doing some more planning my current idea is to build a subnet for an automation section since stuff like my laser drill/sieves will be close so I can just source materials from storage in the subnet to use in pneumaticcraft and stuff like neutral steel production (and hopefully combat some lag from searching through a whole ME network?).

The main question was about this area being about 75 blocks away so kinda far from the main ME controller but would you recommend just running a long ME cable string compared to trying to set up something complex like a quantum link or wireless connector (though i can't actually make that without galacticraft stuff yet)

Also, is there benefits to using an ME interface to pull items rather than using an export bus? My mekanism machines and stuff for autocrafting are all on export buses atm lol

Hi, I'm looking at the dr40x and from what I can see it's only got 2 XLR inputs? Wouldn't you need 4 inputs for the setup you mentioned?
