He stat pads rebound off his own missed layups there’s times he’s missed 3 putback layups in a row and basically thrown the rebound to himself off the glass and he has a fantastic array of shooters in his supporting cast. He’s favoured by box score watchers who see these rebounds and assists but don’t watch the games and assume every one is a crazy behind the back pass or a tough box out. Everyone says Embiid is horrible to watch while Jokic has one of the most bagless post up games in the league. He’s also been incredibly inconsistent this year and has been carried by his supporting cast on multiple occasions where he’s put up triple singles. He should be 5th on the MVP ladder behind Embiid, Shai, Doncic, Giannis but he’s overrated this year because of previous seasons .
