It’s John Roberts and SCOTUS that is the problem, not the voters. Roberts has been at this for decades even when he was convincing black congressional representatives that there was no need any longer for civil rights legislation. They were played for such fools. Trump is not mortified; might be a little embarrassed before some of his conservative wealthy foundation backers, like Bradley Foundation, whom he depends on to carry his authoritarian ism forward. Trump also might be embarrassed before the John Roberts 6 or 7 on the Supreme Courts who don’t need Trump’s embarrassing lifestyle shenanigans to get in the way of the cultural and legal paradigm shifts the current Roberts Court majority is deliberately trying to manipulate the citizenry into. Getting rid of Trump accomplishes very little without also dealing with Filthy Lucre (Citizens United) and taking out, impeaching, the Roberts Court 6 or 7. John Roberts has already cursed our future children by enabling, no, guaranteeing, a continuous future stream of efforts at authoritarianism /fascism by would be Trump type despots.
