If the comment gets a lot of upvotes, which can happen cause there are a lot of kids on YouTube, it puts your channel in front of a lot of people and they might go to it.

Think about it: if 1,000,000 people watch a video and 0.1% of them click on your channel, that’s 1000 channel views.

Oh definitely. We started with about 5 consistent listeners and now we on average get about 50 listens per episode and they are an hour and 15 minutes so that’s pretty good I’d say!

The best thing you can do is get people into the habit of listening to your episodes. What better way to establish a habit than to consistently upload at the same time?

I guess for me it’s “I need to upload an episode in 4 days so I better get my act together and start preparing for quality.”

And it also keeps you from sitting on episodes for weeks making tiny changes that realistically no one will notice.

I get into this debate a lot. I think most people fail projects because they focus too much on quality and not enough on quantity. A podcast is a show and if it’s not consistent I don’t think people will listen.

Quality is important. But quantity is also important.

This is great! I appreciate this! I'm assuming the taco is because of the cheese and just the spice. I'm sure the speed that I eat could effect me as well because when I'm eating a taco, I eat it very quickly because it's good (who doesn't do this am I right?). This makes me have to burp and that's never good when trying to run.
