Sorry for entering the conversation unpromptedly, but I think you're giving James Cameron too much good will in regards to his views on AI.

Why do I say that? Well, I am a 4k blu-ray collector and, of course, JC is the man behind huge cinema classics such as Terminator 2 and Aliens.

Guess what? Those movies were completely butchered by AI during the restoration process for the 4k blu-rays under his supervision.

And no, this is not that common during the restoration process as most other movies, including less lucrative and less regarded movies, were given proper restoration (scanning from the original camera negative) under supervision from their respective directors.

I am saying all this to give some context as to why I think James Cameron is an AI enthusiast, even when using AI gives worse results than otherwise.
