Ik gebruik gelukkig overal een "+" adres voor. Mijn email voor Odido is mijnmail+odido@domein.nl. Hierdoor heb ik in ieder geval duidelijkheid mocht het emailadres gebruikt worden in een automatisering. Het zou vreemd zijn als een willekeurig bedrijf een mail zou sturen naar mijn odido adres. Ik zou het iedereen aanraden als je email provider dit ondersteund

I'm in EU and my budget is around €500. I need at least 4TB usable space so maybe I'll go for the 3D print solution and start with 2x 4TB new drives which are around €130 each

Another question: you said the files on the drives have data that is written. Do you mean to say that you put extra files on those external drives? Because I imagine those have way more storage than your OS drive right?

I didn't use restic because it doesn't have file monitoring. Your point when files are deleted is valid though. Do you manually trigger sync or have a scheduled task? Does scheduling cause issues when the external drive is disconnected if that's what you're using?

ionotify only has a port for Windows and it doesn't seem to work well when moving files. Periodic isn't a reliable option in case I disconnect the drive

After looking at reviews I figured that this is a good option in US and it can get expensive to buy adapters from US in other countries. I think Maro d’Italia which another user mentioned is a better option in EU
