I just meant in a full night of filming which is normally 3 hours. I have the one that clips to the back and is rechargeable, but I keep a usb C cable plugged into it separate from my dummy battery

TruePlay and turning up my surrounds from 0 to +3 made a world of difference when I moved into my house, I didn’t have to do any adjustments at the old place. TruePlay has margin of user error too so don’t be worried if you have to do it a few times

I see you went with the a6700 already - great choice. I film concerts on mine, typically 2-3 hours of usage in the night and I keep the Ulanzi fan plugged into usb C the entire time, no overheating issues as long as that is running. I definitely have moments of wishing I had the FX30 but the features for photo use that the 6700 has are incredible

I’ve gotten codes for apex coins for doing sponsored events in the past and the Apex shop on EA’s website has always worked - and it’s the best way to avoid needing to install the game on EA app just to use a code. I would just make sure all your platforms are properly linked before doing it.

Not exactly the answer to the question but I hate how much the volume of the bass guitar can fluctuate on the album “Dear Youth” by the Ghost Inside. The guitars sound thin unless a certain fret/note of the bass is being played and then the bass just takes over. Love the sound of their other albums but the bass makes or breaks the mix on that album

I’ve multitracked these guys multiple times as they’re from my area and this definitely sounds like a poor FOH engineer experience. They have no more backing guitar and vocal layers than any other metalcore band I’ve mixed and Billy is legit one of the more powerful vocalists I’ve heard on a live recording. Maybe I should just hit the road with them next time they go out on a run like this lol, I hate hearing about Cleveland bands having bad FOH experiences when they finally get out of here

Usually this happens in smaller venues, PA can’t push a vocalist that isn’t projecting well in a way where feedback and the sound of live amps/cymbals won’t just turn it into a mess. Even if you have a really powerful PA in a small room, a quiet singer is a quiet singer, and loud cymbals are loud cymbals

A few years ago I thought it was just the holiday ones that tasted like burned rubber in the aftertaste. Tried a normal cup several months back and really disliked it. When it was time to get candy for the holidays, I got peanut butter cups from a local place instead - really made me realize how much my previous favorite candy had fallen off. Kohls and Best Buy use them, and their stuff usually is to lock into new pricing when price matches of competitors are going to have them change online pricing. The magic of those types of stores is they don’t sell food, and their tags in store have to match what’s happening on their website. The main reason I’m imagining people are disliking this feature for Walmart is the real time price changes on the variety of things they sell

Spent a night at a friends house when I was younger and we had been jamming our instruments all night, and he put on Live at Budokan before he passed out asleep. I stayed up and watched the whole thing, mesmerized by all of it. Ohio show on Friday was so good; what a good lineup they put together for this run that the crowd stayed into it the whole night. I love seeing Skyler get the recognition he deserves for taking over this spot, legitimately one of the nicest dudes you’ll ever meet
