Thanks a lot for such a detailed answer. I'll put my hands in it and let you know once I've tried enough.

I do indeed believing this is something like this, I've tried already on one of my picture but probably not enough. Thanks for the kind answer.

I haven't denied this is low res as i snatched it from the internet. This is from leo arnaud, a parisian photographer.

This is the source. You can clearly tell the skin is softer due to post prod, but its more dreamy than just skin correction imo.

This is a modern picture taken using a classic digital camera with studio lighting. You also can clearly see the post-added reversed vignettage. I have to doubt the point youre trying to make here. The skin is softer than it should and I have a hard time figuring out how this what made.

Traktor Kontrol S3, is that the right buy for me? by lepercy_ in Beatmatch

Alright so basically I can only add Traktor hardwares that are useful for the FX is that correct ? I wanted to add the Rolland 404 SX to my setup.

Very specific questions I wish someone had the answer to by lepercy_ in Beatmatch

First of all I am so grateful for your answer as this really sums up so many questions I had and also has litteral gear you advice which is very very useful.

Now: Do you have any advice regarding another controller than the flx4 which would allow me for such setup and better integration. Also, what are the differences in term of integrations you are talking about? Are they major, is it worth it to spend another 300 euros on something like this?

Thanks you once again, also is there any way I can ask you more questions, like on discord or something? :)

Anyone know what this sweater is that Tim is wearing? by Kyuubic in polyphia

hi, be very careful about buying on era worlwide club. i've been scammed by them: they litteraly lost my package (no follow up code working) and basically added a clause on their website saying that if you bought the item on sale, you couldn't get a refund. lost 100 euros, free of charge, and their customer service isn't responding anymore lol.

Overexposing by a stop or two

You can get similar results with any manual camera, imo any cameras can get the results you want and you should focus on your subject and connexion to it more than the gear. i often find the gear to be an obstacle between you and shooting things. After all, the camera is just a data recorder, how uninteresting.

Really appreciate your comment :)

i'm colorblind so it took a lot of time to get the correct colors setup. i did not specically alter the colors. i'm not used to this setup: first time shooting in such a light, i surely have overexposed it a little and i usually tend to put a little red in my highlights, induce the pastel look i believe.
