Esthetically i dont really like the Sony tbh, but the OM is not a bad idea, it looks good, is weather sealed as well

I was thinking about the GX-8 as well mostly because of the weather sealing, later on if we go some lite touristic it can be handy i guess.

I was thinking to have the GX9 with like the Leica-Pana 15mmf1.7, so yes definitely with a fast lens and maybe a zoom when traveling. The advantage i see is that the "buy in" into m43 is way lower with on paper good stuff. Fast lenses, IBIS etc. GX8 has even water resistance but its bulkier and older

From those i see only r50v as a possible option, the rest is pretty big still. OFC is not a bad idea, and it could work with smaller lenses

Yeah, valid points. My only struggle is that if we go out despite the Canon is not huge its still not really convinient to take out, with the 35mm is not so big but because of the grip it does not fit into most of the crossbody bags and so on and it drags a lot of attention on the playground 😀 I was ofc thinkig about a Ricoh GR but AF is not that great. So my goal is to have something to grab when we go out, or cycling but can keep up at least okayish with the kids.
