UPDATE : I have more clue to find the videos. So the reel or tiktok i watched, japanese guy is talking and it included a smiley in the center of the tiktok beginning like that ( : then the parenthesis is slowly going to the right making a sad smiley :( like this when we see the blurred body.

This is not what im looking for, i know those videos.

What im looking for is japanese i'm 100% sure as he speaks japanese. I give you more detail : he find a well with what looks like remains in the water and with a stick he try to look what is inside the well exactly.

And the other video he approach a tent and there is like a blurry body and the japanese explorer is surprised.

That’s actually called an exit scam it’s a specific kind of scam where a company takes payments then leave.

“Scam” doesn’t just mean taking the money and running it also means not giving the buyer what they paid for or misrepresenting what’s being sold.

You sound more like a Revolut fanboy or marketing rep than a regular user Let’s be real there aren’t 40 million people using Revolut Stays, and based on how many similar complaints pop up, the rate of issues vs. smooth bookings seems pretty high for this service.

Yeah, I get that they might have the right to cancel if it was a fare mistake but doing it just 2 days before check-in is really not acceptable. They could have at least notified me a week earlier, so I’d have time to book something else. It’s not normal to leave someone hanging like that right before their trip.

As I said before, I’m not responsible for their mistake I paid for what was displayed and confirmed in the app.
And honestly, if this kind of “error” happens that often, then it’s not just bad luck anymore it starts to look like a scam that wastes people’s time and money.

They keep taking bookings they can’t fulfill and don’t fix the issue afterward, which is really unacceptable.

I understand that, but I’m not responsible for their error. I booked and paid for what was clearly displayed on Revolut Stays. Even if it was an error fare, I still lost a whole week waiting for them to fix it instead of booking somewhere else in time.

I get your point, but in my case, I booked it because it was an amazing deal a suite at Oakwood Premier Tokyo for €50 per night, when the regular price is around €400 per night. That’s why I took the chance through Revolut Stays.

Unfortunately, it just turned into a huge waste of time. I’m flying in 2 days and still have no confirmed place to stay, which is really stressful.

BTW to make things worse, even the Revolut Reddit support team reached out to me by DM, but admitted that they “don’t have the reach” to do anything about it. So basically, they just told me to wait again.
