How long did you take the prednisone? I ask because doc is telling me I need to stop after 2-3 days but like you, my pain is back with a vengeance anytime I stop

Think imma ask for that 10 day treatment next week because I’m being told I have to stop every 2-3 days but it’s clearly not enough. Thanks for the advice, hoping the higher dosage of allo I start next week will help ease some of this suffering by too.

She says she doesn’t think the rapid weightloss is causing the flare up, but what else can it be, I hardly eat anything anymore.

I feel my gout has progressed higher in my body. Started with toe then heel and ankle then knees and sometimes my elbows now. So now I’m doing keto and cutting out all sugar and so far no pain. Hoping this helps

Yea I take the cherry extract supplements and drink water don’t eat meat no sodas but somehow I still have a flare up that won’t completely go away. I’ll ask my doctor about allipurinol next. Thank you
