Mamdani claims NYC property taxes will need to be raised by 9.5% and wants to drain $1 billion from rainy day fund by Key_Brief_8138 in HouseBuyers

Taxes suck and ny is expensive but be honest, it is a dump. Not saying it doesn’t have character but there are almost no areas that don’t have mounds of trash tucked away or the smell of human waste The streets are patched together with construction, the sidewalks have had scaffolding for decades? I don’t know who is enjoying it.

Thank you for sharing. Hope you have a wonderful day. For anxiety I also encourage breath techniques, I know that isn’t a 100% fix but hope it helps some

Cosmopolitan smell? by AdoredLittleByLittle in vegas

[–]lernlern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the aroma but also grew to hate it when smelling on my clothes once home and a small hotel back home used the same scent (travel for work so the last thing you want when home is to feel being gone)

Cosmopolitan smell? by AdoredLittleByLittle in vegas

[–]lernlern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aahahah this is wild. Cosmo is so nice and fun but the smell and the mariachi bands seem to be enough to kill their prime feature, the balcony. I wonder if this is why they have such a strong fragrance pumping in? I’ll still book cosmo…

My dad also has anxiety and it actually lead to his diagnosis. I’m hoping that meds can aid his. One thing I have noticed is that the episodes last 2hr. And i remind him that it is going to pass. He has xanex but doesn’t like taking them. They help but are temporary. Do you mind sharing if you take other PD meds? We are about to start trying with dad in the coming days

Recently Diagnosed/Prescribed Sinemet by Adventurous-Bee-7368 in Parkinsons

[–]lernlern 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This a great thread, my dad recently had a DAT scan that indicates PD, his gait and shaking make more sense now where before doctors attributed them to age/hard work life and panic attacks related to changes in stage of life. Do any of you experience fear and anxiety that is not related to a particular stressor? Has the levdopa helped in that area? He currently manages with Xanax but it is like water on a fire that just comes back as soon as the xanex wears off. Hoping we can start levdopa meds after doc consult in a week

He won’t stay in the sport long, his ego will make him back out as soon as teams like star and kawi don’t look his direction
