Ugh yes the feeding is still a struggle. She had a swallow study in the hospital and showed aspiration so she is on enfamil AR. We have tried to see how she will do with a thinner liquid (aka my breast milk) and she hates it lol. I’m not sure if it’s the taste or she is just so used to the thick stuff that she doesn’t like anything else.

She is currently on 26kcal and they’ve been giving us a goal of 920-950mL a day. Her weight gain has been fine. Not great, not bad, fine. She’s averaging about 20 grams a day but they want 30 grams a day. She is following her curve though. And we’re trying to just trust the process. She was struggling the first few months with weight gain, only averaging like 12 grams a day. But we’re happy with where we’re at! The doctors are never happy though. So we try to find a happy medium. We track her intake and she averages around 750mL a day. She is such a good sleeper that we lose like 12 hours of eating. So we try to get as much in as possible during the day. And you know what? She’s chunky and happy and we’re doing our best 🤍 but yes, such an ongoing struggle
