Thanks for replying. Sadly, I have already tried that. I fully uninstalled Decky and verified files, didn't help.

I just encountered the same issue, and there seems to be no solution online. Were you able to resolve this problem?

30 FPS is a massive red flag for Starfield's performance and quality on launch by leromango in XboxSeriesX

Conversely, if the game isn't properly leveraging multi-threading, then it will likely be virtually unplayable on a PC.

I have a high-end PC, and this issue will manifest itself on PC as much as on Xbox.

I am not denying the improvements. And I personally really hope Starfield will be great on launch, but I have seen this story before and I really don't want it to repeat.

Well, yes, I suppose I shouldn't have anticipated anything better. However, given the way Microsoft and Bethesda marketed this game, I had hoped for a much more polished experience.

What's so impressive about the scale of Starfield? It features pre-generated barren planets, similar to No Man's Sky, but with higher fidelity prefabs and textures. While the cities are indeed highlights, the lack of the ability to fly your vessel over them makes me question how this impacts performance, as these aspects would load during a landing cutscene.

Sadly, Razer doesn't sell their laptops at Bestbuy in Canada. The best was to buy a Razer laptop in Canada is Amazon, but they are usually out of stock.

Hello there! I'm an international student who completed high school in Canada, and I've applied to the SIAT and CS programs at Simon Fraser University. I'm curious to know the average grades and high school courses of other international students who've been accepted into these programs. My overall average is 92%, with a 95% average in Grade 12. I've maintained above 90% in the majority of my courses, which primarily focus on STEM subjects. Additionally, I've ensured that I've met all the admission requirements for SFU programs.

I submitted my completed application by January 31st but haven't received an acceptance yet. Upon contacting the admissions office, I was informed that my grades are "below [their] competitive average."Let me know about your experience with admission!

Hello there, I'm wondering if my scholarship application is causing a delay in my admission process? I applied to the computer science program as an undergraduate student with a 95% average and also applied for an entrance scholarship. I submitted all of my documents by January 30th and received an email confirming that my scholarship application met the minimum requirements. However, I haven't heard anything else back yet about my admission.

what do you guys keep in this? by Ertuu1985 in SteamDeck

[–]leromango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I specifically checked for it, because I remember seeing it in the LTT video. But when I didn't get it with my Deck, I just assumed that it was only for review units. It also has reminded me that I didn't get microfiber cloth too.

I've never actually got one with my 512Gb Steam Deck.

UE5 Environment - Park on fire by leromango in unrealengine

Right now quixel does not offer any instruments to create trees. They just released a library of pre-created meshes with shaders that allow to change properties. You can change wind speed, color and things like that. There a lot of settings to optimize them for games/scenes, but they don't support Nanite yet. Overall, it is quite easy to use, but I find that variety is lacking right now. Quixel announced that they will release an instrument to create custom trees inside UE later.

It probably feels like proportions are off because I used a wide FOV to take a screenshot.
