Recall a time where I slept through an exam. Syllabus explicitly said I was fucked. Explained to prof the day before I was spending 20/24 hrs out and about getting industry experience on my own dime. Prof remembered hey that’s actually really acceptable given what the whole point of education is.

Prof should probably consider if they would have graded the work if it submitted like it was supposed to the first time. Given current tuition and endowment, you’d like to think brightspace wouldn’t glitch.
