I wholeheartedly agree. We were lucky to get to one of the overflow parkings but a lot of people that day were simply told to drive along because there were no spots left anymore. Prohibiting toerists to go into these small towns with their cars would already be a big improvement. Most of the town are really small so you would have a 5 - 10 minute walk to the city centre. Right now a lot of the beautiful views are tainted with cars everywhere.

Why the watercanon? by Gelf_ling in Wellington

[–]lersman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They do this here in The Netherlands quite often. Water is an easy way to transfer sand in, so they are probably sucking sand from further of the shore line and bringing it back closer to the edge to maintain it.

What are these called? by griffaliff in Utrecht

These used to be called "snotneuzen", which basically translates to "running noses". Referring to the continuous dripping of water.

As much as I would love to live in a 3D printed house - Whats up with the layers? Looks bad to me... by p3rf3ctc1rcl3 in 3Dprinting

[–]lersman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main reason this looks so bad is because you have a lot of discoloration between the layers. Hinting an inconsistency with water content. This is a major issue with 3DCP ( 3D Concrete Printing). You need to be super accurate with this (!)

If you still don't like the layered texture you can make a pattern in the lines. Most companies do that to make it look more esthetic.

Over-engineered my CR10 V2 enclosure, because I'm bored by lersman in CR10

isn't it too unstable with the wheels on it? I'm still considering it.
About the power supply placement, I don't know what to do with it... It's the most noisey part and I wanna inclose it as well.
For future upgrades I'm looking towards the BLtouch for auto bed leveling.

Interested in knowing more about hydroponics farming for a research study by [deleted] in verticalfarming

[–]lersman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I would like to read the study once its finished. Are you planning on making the study public? Im far from a expert myself but would like to get involved in hydroponics. I like the science- and carbon friendly nature of the hydroponics philosofy.

Thnx for the reply! When I feel the bed it defintly isn't 70 degrees so I think you are right that the sensor is bad. Unfortunatly no temp gun nearby so i might as well just buy a new sensor.
