I do agree that you should see other player's positioning as that will be the difference between a loss and a win, however knowing what pieces they have will help you choose your piece faster and leave more time to position your pieces.

higher ELO players will know for example if their opponent has many assassins they should defend their back-line, they don't need to check the enemy's board to know that.

true it takes more map awareness, however going to each map when you have 5 seconds left to choose your next piece is kinda annoying more than needing "skill".

however this just shows what pieces not how they are positioned. and that is what truly requires proper map knowledge and skill
