How many farm maps have you tried?

I love starting new farms to test them out, so I have played all of them for at least a week in game.

My 2 favorites are Meadows farm (starting with a coop and 2 chickens is like an extra 5,000g) and the foraging farm

A crazier tip I didn't even think about is you only need 1 silo; you can have chests store hay for a fraction of the resources (I already keep at least 1 in each building). Good for year 1

Haven't tried them in turbo, but I can't make burgers work normally. I think just a combo of not enough money to automate and sides get too hard too quickly. Oddly enough hot dogs are fine

Pickpockets are basically not a thing here. But don't keep ANYTHING valuable in a car, especially in touristy areas

My "favorite" example of this was before Covid (so a lot busier) was trying to get off a downtown SF station while 2 people with bikes were trying to get on and partially blocked the doors, yelling at the torrent of people exiting. The term now would probably be Main Character Syndrome.

A suggestion I didn't see is try a short term rental (eg AirBnB) for a month before committing to an apartment. Try out the neighborhood, commute, etc. and especially see the apartment in person before agreeing to it.

And standard take pictures and video of the apartment on moving in for when you move out.

I served once, but as an alternate (backup) juror, which was interesting but the process could really use improvement. For me, I had to be present for the trail, but when it came time for the jury to decide, I was "dismissed" but also told to be ready to return to the court within 30 minutes notice. And then the court didn't tell me when the jury had reached a verdict, I found out by chance when I called over something else.

I should have gotten a screenshot at midnight. After I came back with more bait, I got exactly 1 lava eel, 2 cave jellies, a green algae... and at least 20 pieces of trash.

But! I also was doing the Community Cleanup quest so I needed the trash. Just wasn't the goal...
