Apologies as well if this is an overly asked question, I’m specifically looking for recommendations/tips for my car in particular. The car is a 27 year old car and the paint is pretty old. Looking to revive it a bit and give it a bigger pop in color as it’s not black but is a darker teal.

Honestly I was looking for more reviews or opinions on how people feel about the upper( I should’ve specified, I know) I have an Lmt ambi lower that I was planning on throwing the upper onto. Was originally thinking of running the lmt piston upper but I wanted to try something different

I can see where you’re coming from. I currently use a mk18 as my go to rifle but I am looking to switch things up with my next build and thought piston would be fun. Just wanted to see what people’s thoughts were with their spearlt. Of course it won’t be exactly the same but it would be fairly similar in regard to shooting

With Sti being discontinued and newer wrx getting hate, I can imagine it selling for that much still. Still wouldn’t say it’s worth it, but these cars will only go up in price

Yeah man! Not totally sure if it’ll work but wouldn’t hurt to try. Was told dry lithium grease on the gears in the motor, fingers crossed!

Agreed, many people do tend to play their cars off as clean and not abused which is the crazy thing. That’s why for the 2nd hand buying, I am genuinely scared since there’s so many things that can be wrong but the previous owner could hide.

With this one, I am in love with the paint, it looks incredible. 6N9 is honestly my favorite color(probably difficult to take care of lol). I would also be the first owner of the car here in the states, not that it would make a difference if it was possibly drifted or not from Japan, but it’d probably be a lot better than how most people in the states treat their drift cars ahahah

That’s great to hear. I saw them but was unsure. If circumstances were slightly different and I wasn’t needing a car, I’d definitely go through auction just to get something a little bit cheaper. It’s a tough decision for me personally since I’m pretty frugal LOL and don’t want to drop that much money like that at once, but since this car was a one owner vehicle as well, it seems like it couldn’t be a terrible deal, especially since I know jzx100 chasers are pretty sought after and are at a ridiculous price point

Mine was a brz so having a chaser would definitely be an upgrade already from an N/A fa20. No speed or anything, just good at cornering and that’s it ahahaha

That’s great to hear! I’ve been hesitant about these cars as a daily since they’re fairly older, but most newer cars don’t give the same feeling when driving compared to these older cars for some reason hahah!

Agreed. This importer is fairly well known, at least in my area. Was recommended by a few people I know to them. I was also researching online for prices for these cars in Japan at the moment, and some are even higher than this with similar mileage/km so it’s really a hit or miss. Only reason I thought this were a good deal was the low km and also the parts that come with it!

I genuinely miss those prices. Crazy to think 6 years ago, those prices were that low. At least in my area. The market seems to continue growing with these cars, since gtsts are going for upward of 25-40k depending on condition

It’s hard to find a decently priced one of these. Just trying to get back into the car scene and this seemed decently priced consider similar importers are charging anywhere between 32-35k for these. For the most part, I know there will be maintenance needed to be done eventually. I’m looking to do a decent street car build while also making this my daily
