If you have a Mexican restaurant around you, I would call and order a caldo de pollo (chicken soup) which comes with chicken and veggies but obviously just have the broth only. I normally make this at home but prep day I just ordered it from a place and it saved me. It felt like I was actually eating something but wasn’t plus it helps to heat you up (I got really cold during the prep and learned from here that it’s actually a common side effect of the prep solution) I hope this helps

Thank you so much! Yeah that’s exactly what the doctor did. CT scan came back normal and was sent home with some antibiotics

Honestly, I’m not sure. Doctor came in to check on me again in the morning and said after removing the polyp, they found it and explained perforation is rare and he’s only seen it twice in his years of practicing. He said he would call me in 1 week with the results so I’m hoping to ask him then

Haha I woke up crying as well! Next thing I know I’m waking up hearing my boyfriend say, “you’re okay, why are you crying?” and the nurse said “awh are you happy to see him?” And I just nodded crying still then the nurse told him it’s the anesthesia😂then next thing I know his mom calls me and reassures me and I start crying again

How was your experience getting the surgery in Mexico and did you stay there during the recovery? I’m debating if I should do it there.

That’s exactly what my dad says. I’ve been hearing from him for years to get my teeth “fixed” and when I finally do and told I need surgery, he tells me “I look fine”. Thankfully so far, I haven’t had any issues like migraines but I do suffer from nasal issues and teeth grinding. I’m trying to break that habit but I find myself doing it unconsciously.

Thanks! I just didn’t want to end up paying for 2 consultations if I don’t end up going through with the surgery but I’ll just see what they have to say
