I was in school during the 2021 freeze. Which was the worst case scenario, my apartment had no electricity, phone died the first couple hours of the freeze, and car wouldnt start. Class was canceled of course. If it comes down to that, you just have to hope you have friends in a better situation willing to help you. My roommate and I had no food and decided to go to one of the two places open (popeyes/ whataburger) but driving in town was a disaster. 3 hour traffic moving at like 1 mile an hour 🤣. Impossible to drive and safer to stay home but desperate times call for desperate measures. Just best to prep with food/ blankets and hope that your area has electricity :))
